Travel and Residence
Please note that all consular services are handled by the Danish Embassy in Nairobi or subsequently the Danish Embassy in Addis Ababa.
Consular services includes the issuance of Danish passports and drivers licenses, imprisonment cases, child abduction cases, visa application etc. The Programme Office in Hargeisa cannot assist in any consular cases. On the webpage of the Danish Embassy in Nairobi you can find all relevant information, including specific information on application for visa and resident permits for Denmark.
The Danish Authorities have little or no means with which to assist Danish Citizens with any legal aid or evacuation in and from Somalia.
